IMPORTANT: Florida is a CLOSED PRIMARY state......Voters may only vote for candidates within their registered party as of book closing - August 1st at 5:00 p.m.

 • In primary elections, you are entitled to vote the official
primary election ballot of the political party you are
registered with and no other (FS 101.021)
 • You must be registered with your party of choice 29 days
before a primary election (FS 97.055) 
 • At a general election, you may vote for any candidate or
question on the ballot, regardless of party affiliation.

Party changes must be made by
Monday, August 1st
for the August 30th Primary

 There are three ways for you to cast a ballot:

1 ~ Vote by Mail:
To request your mail ballot click on "Vote by Mail Request",
call (863) 763-4014 or visit the Supervisor of Elections
office at 304 NW 2nd St., Room 144, Okeechobee.

Ballots will be mailed August 2nd and continue to be mailed 
as requests  are received up to 6 days prior to Election Day.

        VOTE BY MAIL (Absentee) BALLOTS ARE NOT        

**Please provide an address that allows us to mail the ballot directly to you**

2 ~ Early Voting:

Early voting begins Monday, August 15th and continues
through Saturday, August 27th, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM* daily.
Early Voting will take place at the Supervisor of Elections
office located at 304 NW 2nd St., Okeechobee.

3 ~ Election Day:
Election Day you must vote at your assigned precinct. To
locate your specific precinct Click Here.

Under Florida law, email addresses are considered public record. If you do not want your email address released in response to a
