Important Notice:

Unofficial Registration Mailings

Okeechobee County residents may be receiving pre-filled Voter Registration Forms in the mail. These forms are produced by the Voter Participation Center (VPC) and are NOT official notices from our office, nor are they based on information provided by our office.

The address lists for these mailings are frequently created from outdated and often incorrect data with previous mailings resulting in voter registration applications being sent to deceased persons, minor children, and sometimes even pets. Mailings have also been sent to voters already registered, which creates unnecessary confusion and concern.

These mailings can be misleading, causing voters to think their voter registration status has changed. It is important for voters to understand if they receive one of these mailings it does not mean their voter registration status has changed.

The VPC is a registered third-party organization with the State of Florida. These organizations are not affiliated in any way with the Okeechobee County Supervisor of Elections office. Voters with questions or concerns regarding these mailings should contact VPC at 877-255-6750 or visit www.voterparticipation.org.

We encourage all voters to verify their voter registration status or to update their registration information by selecting “My Voter Info” above or by calling our office.
